I used to go regularly to the comedy night at the Tattersall Castle boat by Temple around early 2000's.
It was always a mixed bag of about half a dozen comedians and I remember seeing him there and his routine was nothing like what he has become famous for...he sometimes hosted the night and was quite funny at times.
Never thought he would go on to what we now know him for though...which is pure stool water

No they are not vexed. You cunt. I loved bill hicks as much as the next person and people of his genre, but McIntyre is alright. A sort of soap opera type comedian where you don’t have to think too much. Unlike say Stewart lee who I think is a fucking genius but too cerebral at times. He’s moved on to another joke when I’m still computing the first. Thick cunt me
